Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

We will not be accepting any new residents for the Summer 2020 Semester due to COVID 19.

6/16/20 update:

We will have reduced capacity for the 2020 Fall semester due to COVID-19. We will begin to look at Payment Plan Worksheets on Thursday, July 16, 2020 to begin to fill the spots for the 2020 Fall semester. We will only be processing applications for Full Year contracts (Fall 2020 and Spring 2021).


4/16/20 2:00pm update:

Residents that have not returned to campus to pick up their belongings will be able to do so after California's Stay at Home Order has been rescinded. For residents that have been unable to return to pick up their belongings, the last day of charge is Friday, March 13, the last day before spring break started.

Mail will only be delivered on campus on Fridays. Housing staff will notify residents that receive packages or mail via text or email. Housing Staff will deliver the mail/ packages once the student responds they will be in their room for at least 30 minuets. Housing Staff will knock on the door, once we get verbal confirmation the resident is there, we will leave the package at the door. 

Housing and Dining services are scheduled to be open at the following times during the 2020 Summer semester


Housing Office:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00am- 4:00pm

Dining Services:

Monday-Thursday: 11:00am-2:00pm

Monday-Friday- 9:00am-5:00pm, 6:00pm-11:00pm (RA Office Hours)

Saturday-Sunday 2:00pm-5:00pm (RA Office Hours), 6:00pm-11:00pm (RA Office Hours)

 Living on Campus at College of the Redwoods

Here is your chance to live in a diverse community of up to 150 students under two roofs on the Main Eureka Campus. Our residents come from all over the country and beyond crossing international borders. Our students come from every background imaginable with educational goals just as diverse. The residence hall becomes a small community where you can relax and be yourself. The community includes staff who are here to help you navigate the college resources and help make your stay within the halls as positive as possible. In addition, residents have evening access to the gym, on site laundry facilities, free admission to CR events, and a 5-minute walk to all your classes.

We encourage you to check out all the links within the residential life web page to give you a realistic preview of what living the halls is like. We hope the information helps you in deciding if living on-campus is most beneficial for you in achieving your academic and personal goals.
